With such a wide and varied organization in Facilities we have many opportunities for advancement and growth. This unit provides training on leadership, management, policies, and communication and is eager to find or create training on just about anything you'd like to learn. The steering committee creates opportunities for employees to get together, be recognized for life events, and provide additional funding for employee sponsored programs. For instance, the committee organizes a "thank you" breakfast and dinner each year, sends flowers or memorials in the event of a death in the employee's family, and celebrates significant life events such as births, marriages, employee graduations, etc. For information on how you can contribute, please contact Phyllis Gillis at (309) 438-2216.
