Estimating

Customers may request estimates via a Request for Facilities Services or on the iServiceDesk. The Estimator will contact the customer and begin compiling information for the estimate. A completed estimate is given to the customer for review. To proceed, the customer references the estimate number in another Request for Facilities Services or through the iServiceDesk.

PIT

The Project Interaction Team (PIT) reviews each estimate request and provides input in their areas of expertise. The group is comprised of representatives from Telecommunications, Facilities Management, Facilities Planning, Dining Services, Environmental Health and Safety, University Housing, and Classroom Technology. The purpose of the PIT Crew is to increase communication and awareness of the projects that are occurring on campus. By involving as many of the pertinent departments as possible, they are able to maintain a more global focal point and be more inclusive of all campus departments.
